SmarterWays have just received the fantastic news that we have been nominated and shortlisted for the Burton Mail Business Awards.
The last 18 months has seen rapid growth despite challenging times across all areas of the business. In the year ending May 2009, SmarterWays had a turnover with an increase of around 80% on the previous year. In the year ending May 2010, the turnover showed a growth of just over 300%. In such a turbulent climate, we realise how lucky we are to acheive such success and believe it shows great signs for our future if we can accomplish so much. The directors are committed to continually reinvesting in the business to provide a stable platform for growth which is why SmarterWays is continuing to see success after success.
SmarterWays has also seen an increase in staff from 3 to 15 over the last 18 months. Despite the climate the business continued to show growth and we consider ourselves extremely lucky to have been able to take on some very able people who, through no fault of their own, had found themselves without a job.
This amongst many other reaaons is why we have found ourselves being shortlisted for two awards at the annual Burton Mail event in October.
The awards we have been shortlisted for are ‘Best use of innovation and technology’ and ‘Best corporate and social responsibility’.
Being an IT support and web design company, winning an innovation and technology award would mean a lot to our team here at SmarterWays, Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire. Our team and the directors have put a lot of time and consideration into creating the most unique and efficient solutions possible for our clients. The IT support and web design team have been working incredibly hard to provide our clients with a service they cant get elsewhere.
